Match Charter Public School is a free, high-performing charter public school in Boston. We are a PreK-12 school serving up to 1,250 students. Our mission is to prepare students‑particularly multilingual learners and those who would be the first in their families to earn a college degree‑for success in college and careers in order to achieve economic security and mobility. OVERVIEW OF ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Match has an opening for a full‑time Arts Teacher who can continue to help build Match's middle school Arts program. The position entails planning and teaching visual arts and/or performing arts classes during the regular school day. The position is located at Match Middle School on 215 Forest Hills St. in Jamaica Plain, MA. The compensation for Match teaching positions ranges from $61,812‑$98,899 and is based on a candidate's prior years of teaching experience. Match offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes 90% coverage of health insurance costs and student loan repayment assistance. Hours for the position are 7:00am‑2:45pm (7:00am‑4:30pm on Wednesdays for collaboration and professional development).

We would like the Arts teacher to offer visual arts or performing arts classes. There is a budget available for equipment and supplies.

QUALIFICATIONS
