Prospect Schools in Brooklyn is seeking a Co-ed Soccer Coach to lead our after-school program for the fall season. You will plan structured practices, develop players' soccer skills, and lead the team through league competition under the Athletic Coordinator.

Applicants should have a high school diploma, at least one year of coaching youth ages 10-18, and be able to work afternoons and evenings. CPR/AED and concussion training are required before season start, with a background check.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year coaching experience with youth ages 10-18.
• CPR/AED certification and concussion recognition training required before season.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead structured practices to develop technical skills and teamwork.
• Teach formations, positioning, passing, dribbling, and shooting techniques.
• Prepare for league games with game plans and opponent scouting.
• Organize warm-ups, drills, scrimmages, and cooldowns for every session.
• Ensure players have proper soccer gear and safe equipment.
