Job summary

Westford Public Schools is seeking an Academic Coach LONG TERM SUB to support middle school students’ learning at Blanchard Middle School in Westford, MA. The role runs from 09/16/2026 to 10/30/2026 and is paid per day under the Substitute Handbook.

The coach will coordinate with teachers, support students in multiple subjects, and teach a Stride Class focusing on study skills and executive function. The position is full-time, with a daily rate of $100–$343, reporting to the Building Principal.

Qualifications

• Must be able to support students in multiple subjects (math, language arts, reading, science, social studies)
• Reports to: Building Principal
• Objective: To provide academic support to referred students so that they can successfully reclaim the status of independent learner upon return to the regular classroom.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with teachers and work with individual students to strengthen organizational skills and provide additional classroom supports.
• Teach a "Stride Class", working with students on study skills and executive function
