We’re looking for a skilledMiddle Python Engineerto join a finance-focused data analytics project. The ideal candidate has a strong background in Python and SQL, along with a solid understanding of financial data structures and multi-currency analytics spanning across international business units.

Customer Overview:

A US-based technology company specializing in innovative solutions for thefintechsector.You’ll be joining a dynamic remote team working on impactful products used by financial teams across multiple countries and currencies.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain data processing scripts using Python and SQL
• Work with financial data across entities and currencies to support deep-dive analytics
• Collaborate with analysts and product stakeholders to understand reporting requirements
• Participate in creating and optimizing ETL pipelines
• Ensure data quality and consistency in financial reporting
• Support ad hoc data requests and automation tasks
• Participate in meetings overlapping with PST time zone (2 days/week)

Skills/Requirements:

• 2–4 years of experience in Python development
• Proficient in SQL and data handling
• Experience working with financial datasets, including multi-entity and multi-currency analytics
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Background in Computer Science or AI is a strong plus
• Ability to work two days per week overlapping with PST time zone (until 8 PM PST)
