U.S. Bank is seeking a Business Risk Professional to partner with lines of business, implement risk frameworks, and ensure regulatory compliance. The role involves identifying risks, recommending mitigations, and coordinating with risk managers and defense lines to protect the company.

Responsibilities include governance, data analysis, and clear communication to leadership. Two to three years of experience are required, with strong analytical and project management skills valued.

Qualifications

• Intermediate understanding of the business line's operations, products/services, systems, and associated risks/controls
• Intermediate understanding of applicable laws, regulations, financial services, and regulatory trends that impact their assigned line of business
• Ability to build and manage a team of Business Risk professionals who have credibility and work directly with business line management, as appropriate
• Basic knowledge of Business Risk competencies
• Strong process facilitation and project management skills
• Well-developed analytical skills
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Possess business acumen and credibility to help business line(s) proactively identify and address changing workforce needs
• Proficient computer navigation skills, particularly word processing, spreadsheet, databases, and presentations

Responsabilités

• Partner with Line of Business and other risk professionals to implement and oversee a risk management framework
• Identify gaps and inform solutions to minimize losses from inadequate internal processes or human errors
• Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations
• May serve as a liaison between the Line of Business and the Lines of Defense
