Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Middle Office Analyst 1 in the Pittsburgh area to support finance operations and provide accounting and trading support for funds of moderate complexity. The ideal candidate will have a BA or equivalent, experience in middle office or operations, and exposure to process improvement, automation and AI-enabled tools to drive operational efficiency.

• Perform exception research, convert legacy workflows to standardized platforms, and draft error reports.

Job description

A client in the Pittsburgh area is looking for a Middle Office Analyst 1 to support their team. This individual will work with minimal supervision and will provide accounting and trading support activities for funds of moderate complexity. They will perform reviews of moderately complex documents processed from across the Bank to confirm compliance with processes and procedures. They will review a moderate volume of documents to ensure processors followed procedures while taking on minimal risk. They will leverage their knowledge of processes and procedures to confirm findings, track funds and trades, maintain records, search for fail points in processes and draft error reports to be provided to clients. They will have knowledge of compliance rules and service level agreements. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented and skilled at investigating breaks. They will be able to clearly document their findings and communicate issues effectively.

Day to Day:

• Support operations including but not limited to cash and position reconciliations, cash management activities, client specific operations processes, quality control reporting, exception research and support for conversion efforts from legacy workflows to newly standardized platforms.

MUST HAVES:

• BA or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Middle office or operations experience, particularly within reconciliation, exception management and control-focused review activities
• Exposure to process improvement initiatives, automation and AI enabled tools that support operational efficiency and analysis
