Job Description

The Relationship Manager III serves as the primary contact for Middle Market and Emerging Markets clients and represents Citizens Bank in the community. The role involves managing a diverse portfolio of credit and non-credit relationships, focusing on companies with annual revenues between $25 million and over $200 million, primarily in New Jersey. The manager acts as a trusted advisor, delivering tailored bank products and services, and engaging at the CEO/Owner level for strategic discussions.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Build and maintain strong client relationships, generate ideas, and conduct strategic business discussions.
  2. Manage a portfolio of credit and non-credit relationships, identifying opportunities to meet client needs.
  3. Actively pursue new client acquisition to increase revenue through credit and ancillary product sales.
  4. Interpret financial statements and credit issues, providing strategic value to clients.
  5. Collaborate with the Portfolio Management team to serve clients and grow the portfolio.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 10+ years of relevant industry experience.
  • Proven success in commercial financing, including complex transactions.
  • Strong credit analysis skills and ability to handle sensitive client negotiations.
  • Independent thinker with excellent sales and credit skills.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and risk assessment.
  • Bachelor's Degree required; Master's preferred.
  • Willingness to obtain FINRA licenses if not already licensed.
Work Schedule

40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
