Job summary

Huntington Learning Center is seeking talented educators to help students build confidence and academic skills. After paid training, you will teach and make a meaningful difference in students’ lives.

The role involves tutoring grades 5–12 in Math, Reading, Writing, English, Science, and SAT/ACT prep using Huntington’s curriculum. Flexible part-time hours include weekday evenings and Saturday sessions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required.
• Strong subject knowledge in one or more areas (Reading, Writing, English, Math, or Science).
• Teaching/tutoring experience with grades 5–12 preferred.
• Teaching certification/license and SAT/ACT experience are a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Teach students in grades 5–12 in 1-to-1 or small-group settings (up to 4 students).
• Provide individualized instruction in classroom skills, subject tutoring, and test preparation.
• Work with students across Math, Reading, Writing, English, Science, and SAT/ACT prep.

After paid training in our proven methods, you’ll spend your time teaching and making a meaningful difference in students’ lives.

The Opportunity:

• Teach students in grades 5–12 in a 1-to-1 or small-group setting of up to 4 students.
• Provide individualized instruction in classroom skills, subject tutoring, and test preparation.
• Work with students in Math, Reading, Writing, English, Science, and/or SAT/ACT preparation.
• Use our provided curriculum—no lesson plans to create.
• Participate in paid training and ongoing professional development.
• Work in a collaborative, fun, and rewarding environment.

Teaching Hours:

• Flexible part-time schedule.
• Monday–Thursday: 2:00–8:30 PM.
• Saturday: 9:00 AM–3:00 PM.

Requirements:
