Job summary

Huntington Learning Center in Minneapolis is seeking part-time tutors to teach Reading, Writing and English, including SAT/ACT prep. You will use Huntington's proven curriculum and work with students one-on-one or in small groups after paid training.

Qualifications

Do you love teaching but wish you could spend more time with students and less time lesson planning and grading?
At Huntington Learning Center, we provide the curriculum, materials, and individualized student programs, so you can focus on what you do best: teaching and helping students succeed.
After paid training in our proven instructional methods, you'll work one-on-one or across two to four students. You'll help students strengthen academic skills, build confidence, and reach their goals.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. (Required)
• Strong knowledge of Reading, Writing, English, and/or Literature.
• Teaching/tutoring experience, including SAT/ACT prep. (Preferred).
• A genuine desire to help students learn and succeed!

Teaching Hours

• Monday–Thursday, 1:00–8:30 p.m.
• Friday, 3:00-7:00 p.m.
• Saturday, 9:00 am-3:00 p.m.
