Job summary

A global financial technology company is seeking a skilled DevSecOps Engineer to secure its cloud-based infrastructure in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for embedding security within CI/CD pipelines, managing cloud security, and ensuring compliance. The ideal candidate will have over 3 years of experience in DevSecOps and a strong understanding of cloud environments. This position is remote and open to candidates residing in Poland.

Qualifications

The Role

We are looking for a skilled and security-minded DevSecOps Engineer to help secure and scale our cloud-based infrastructure and applications in a highly regulated FinTech environment. You\u2019ll play a critical role in embedding security into our CI/CD pipelines, cloud environments, and development processes to ensure we meet both technical and compliance requirements such as CIS, SOC 2 and ISO 27001.

As part of a fast-paced, innovation-driven team, you\u2019ll work cross-functionally with DevOps, engineering, and compliance teams to build secure, compliant, and reliable financial platforms.

Responsibilities

• Manage and harden cloud-native infrastructure (AWS/ Azure) ensuring least-privilege access and data encryption at rest/in transit.
• Deploy and maintain tools for vulnerability management, infrastructure as code (IaC), and container security.
• Design and implement secure CI/CD pipelines, integrating tools for container security, dependency scanning, and secrets detection.
• Automate security controls, monitoring, and alerting across infrastructure and application layers.
• Ensure compliance with security standards such as CIS, SOC 2 and ISO 27001.
• Respond to and investigate security incidents and vulnerabilities.
• Champion a DevSecOps mindsetnabling teams to build security into every phase of the SDLC.
• Support audit and compliance efforts by providing required technical evidence and reports.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in DevSecOps, Cloud Security, or related engineering roles in FinTech or regulated environments.
• Strong understanding of cloud security (AWS preferred) and infrastructure hardening.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g. Argo CD, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) and DevOps automation.
• Proficiency with scripting languages (Python, Bash, or similar) and Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Hands-on knowledge of security tooling such as CSPM and Container security
