Job description

All Saints Episcopal School seeks an experienced and enthusiastic Middle/Upper School Math Teacher (Grades 6 - 10th) who can engage students in meaningful inquiry, critical thinking, problem solving, and collaborative exploration. The candidate should be well-versed in teaching a range of mathematical concepts and problem-solving strategies, and comfortable teaching either Middle or Upper School mathematics.

Teachers at All Saints are expected to have a strong commitment to students and the school community, working collaboratively with colleagues and supporting all aspects of school life. A positive attitude and an appreciation for the unique qualities of the age group are essential.

The ideal candidate should:

  • A bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Mathematics education; an advanced degree is preferred
  • Preferably have three years of teaching experience, ideally in an independent school environment
  • Demonstrate a passion for working with children and knowledge of best practices
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Have mastery of developmentally-appropriate instructional strategies
  • Be enthusiastic about working in an environment that encourages students to reach their full potential
