Layup Parts is seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to drive precision and build the infrastructure for modern manufacturing. You will inspect composite parts and tooling, document findings, and support our QMS.

The role emphasizes reading drawings, GD&T, and collaboration with production, software, and engineering to raise quality and reduce defects. The position offers a daytime schedule with a mid-morning start, competitive hourly pay, and full benefits.

Formación

• A sharp eye for detail and a high standard for precision and consistency.
• Hands-on experience with inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
• Comfort reading engineering drawings and applying GD&T
• Familiar with AS9100 or similar QMS standards
• Able to clearly document and communicate quality issues
• U.S. Person due to access to ITAR/export-controlled information

Responsabilidades

• Inspect composite parts, molds, and tooling for internal use and customer delivery
• Document and report findings clearly for internal teams and external stakeholders
• Support and improve our Quality Management System (AS9100-style)
• Perform receiving inspections and verify incoming materials meet spec
• Track and document non-conformances and coordinate rework and disposition
• Input inspection data into our MES (Matrix) and help refine our digital tools
• Collaborate with production, software, and engineering to raise quality and reduce defects
