Position Overview

Drive multi-rear axle trucks to transport freshly mixed concrete from the central mix plant to job sites and projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate the truck safely from the ready mix plant to job sites, ensuring the integrity of the concrete product.
• Make necessary adjustments to equipment and maintain cleanliness of the vehicle.
• Assist with pouring by operating chutes as needed.
• Follow all safety policies and OSHA/MSHA regulations, including wearing PPE.
• Follow instructions from the Foreperson regarding daily tasks and project requirements.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and document findings in accordance with company policies.
• Maintain a professional and courteous attitude with customers, co-workers, and supervisors.
• Dependably attend work on time and regularly.

Qualifications

To succeed, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience in construction or related fields, preferably with ready-mix concrete delivery.

Work Requirements

• Operate a CDL B heavy straight truck with necessary endorsements, including air brake skills.
• Adhere strictly to safety and operational policies.
• Report to work at scheduled times and be available for overtime, nights, weekends, and travel as needed.

Physical and Environmental Requirements

• Ability to climb, lift (40-70 lbs.), carry, bend, push/pull (up to 70 lbs.), reach, kneel, stoop, and twist.
• Work in noisy, dusty, and potentially hazardous environments, wearing appropriate safety gear.
