This position is based on site in Richmond, VA, with the requirement to ideally be on site 5 days a week, which may vary based on client need.
Unlock Your Potential: Qualifications for Success- 4+ years of experience in construction project management with a thorough understanding of the building design and construction process.
- Bachelor's, Associate's, or equivalent experience in a construction-related discipline.
- 2+ years of experience managing critical environment projects (data centers, labs, hospitals, etc.)
- MEP experience in ground-up construction
- Excellent analytical, organizational, problem-solving, presentation, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll love it)- The MGAC Critical Environments team specializes in construction management for building data centers and hospitals, ensuring project success through industry expertise.
- As owner’s representatives, we explain complex issues, manage conflicts, and advise on outside-the-owner’s-sphere matters, helping owners make informed decisions to keep projects on track.
- As a Project Manager at MGAC, you will lead high-visibility, resume-building projects.
- You’ll be an integral part of the team, mentoring, leading, and managing schedule, scope, and budget.
- Our East Coast project work is expanding, supported by a strong portfolio and a healthy, growing pipeline.
- Independently manage full project scope and components of other projects.
- Work autonomously and be self-sufficient in project execution.
- Ensure timely invoicing, collections, and identify additional services.
- Maintain alignment with the client’s vision as a trusted partner.
- Lead project risk management, contingency, schedule, and budget recovery planning.
- Conduct requirements gathering and needs assessments.
- Build collaborative relationships with clients, A&E professionals, contractors, vendors, and teams.
- Anticipate risks, solve complex challenges and conflicts.

$110,000 - $185,000 a year
Salary is broad and dependent on experience, expertise, and location. It does not include potential bonuses, 401(k) matching up to 8%, and other benefits.
