Landau Associates is seeking a Mid to Senior-Level Air Quality Consultant to join our Baton Rouge, LA office. The role focuses on air permitting, compliance, emissions analysis, and project management for industrial clients.

You will execute permitting projects, prepare permit applications and reports, perform emissions calculations, and interpret Clean Air Act requirements while mentoring junior staff in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Atmospheric Science, Environmental Science, Meteorology, or related field.
• 5+ years of environmental consulting experience including air permitting, regulatory compliance, and project management.
• Experience preparing air permit applications and regulatory analyses for industrial facilities.
• Working knowledge of federal and state air quality regulations, including Clean Air Act programs such as NSR, PSD, Title V, NSPS, and NESHAP.
• Experience calculating emissions and preparing technical reports, compliance documentation, and emissions inventories.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with clients, regulators, and project teams.

As part of our continued growth, Landau Associates is seeking an Air Quality Consultant to support our valued clients with air permitting, regulatory compliance, emissions analysis, and project management. This position will be based in our Baton Rouge, Louisiana office.

What You’ll Do

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Atmospheric Science, Environmental Science, Meteorology, or a related field
• 5+ years of environmental consulting experience, including air permitting, regulatory compliance, and project management
• Experience preparing air permit applications and regulatory analyses for industrial facilities
• Working knowledge of applicable federal and state air quality regulations, including Clean Air Act programs such as NSR, PSD, Title V, NSPS, and NESHAP
• Experience calculating emissions and preparing technical reports, compliance documentation, and emissions inventories
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with clients, regulators, and project teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrated project management skills, including managing scopes, schedules, budgets, and client communications
• Experience with air dispersion modeling tools such as AERMOD or AERSCREEN is preferred but not required
