Job summary

PEAC Solutions seeks a Mid-Ticket Senior Credit Analyst to underwrite and manage commercial loan and lease transactions from $500,000 to $25,000,000 across industries. You will evaluate credit risk and present approvals to Credit Committee, partnering with Sales and Operations to streamline processes.

This role includes mentoring, policy development, and participation in credit committee reviews, with a hybrid Mt. Laurel, NJ schedule (three days in office, two remote).

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of commercial credit underwriting in equipment leasing and middle-ticket transactions.
  • Experience with CTI and Specialty Finance products (inventory, rental, wholesale).
  • Strong financial statement and tax return analysis; excellent communication and organization.

Responsibilities

  • Underwrite and evaluate middle-ticket equipment finance transactions from $500,000 to $25,000,000.
  • Analyze financial statements, tax returns, credit reports, and due diligence to assess creditworthiness.
  • Prepare and present credit approvals and annual reviews to Credit Committee and Senior Management.
  • Support Sales and Operations in structuring and closing complex transactions.
  • Lead underwriting activities for Specialty Finance products including inventory, rental, and wholesale financing.
  • Develop and maintain underwriting guidelines and risk acceptance criteria.
  • Ensure transactions comply with credit policies, audits, and portfolio risk standards.
  • Mentor junior underwriting staff and provide co-approval support during high-volume periods.
  • Communicate credit decisions and portfolio performance to internal stakeholders.

PEAC Solutions is seeking an experienced Mid-Ticket Senior Credit Analyst to underwrite and manage commercial loan and lease transactions ranging from $500,000 to $25,000,000 across diverse industries and equipment types. This role is responsible for evaluating credit risk, preparing and presenting credit approvals, supporting complex transactions, and partnering with Sales and Operations to ensure an efficient transaction process. The position also provides leadership support through mentoring, policy development, and participation in credit committee reviews.

Essential Functions
  • Underwrite and evaluate middle-ticket equipment finance transactions ranging from $500,000 to $25,000,000.
  • Analyze commercial and personal financial statements, tax returns, credit reports, and due diligence materials to assess creditworthiness.
  • Prepare and present credit approval summaries, annual reviews, and recommendations to Credit Committee and Senior Management.
  • Support Sales and Operations in structuring and closing complex or non-standard transactions.
  • Lead underwriting activities for Specialty Finance products, including inventory, wholesale, and rental financing programs.
  • Develop and maintain underwriting guidelines and risk acceptance criteria.
  • Ensure transactions comply with company credit policies, audit requirements, and portfolio risk standards.
  • Provide mentoring and co-approval support for junior underwriting staff and assist with workflow management during high-volume periods.
  • Communicate credit decisions and portfolio performance effectively to internal stakeholders and leadership.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • 15+ years of commercial credit underwriting experience in equipment leasing and middle-ticket transactions required.
  • Experience with CT&I and Specialty Finance products, including inventory, rental, and wholesale financing.
  • Strong financial statement and tax return analysis skills.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Additional Information
  • This is a hybrid position based in our Mt. Laurel, NJ office. Team members work three days per week in the office and two days remotely.
