Job summary

Arcfield is seeking a Systems Engineer Senior Technical Specialist to support the Technical Action Group (TAG), the engine room of our Directorate, aligning to evolving mission needs of customers and partners.

You will guide the MID Front Office’s business functions, craft executive briefings, and coordinate communications for senior leadership meetings, reviews, and off-sites. A TS/SCI with poly is required, with 12–15 years in STEM and deep domain knowledge.

Qualifications

  • Requires 12 to 15 years with BS or 10 to 13 years with MS or 10+ years with a Ph.D. in a STEM field.
  • Must possess and be able to maintain a TS/SCI clearance with Poly.
  • Expertise with the customer's mission technical capabilities and have conducted analysis and assessments.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Technical Action Group (TAG) as the engine room for meeting evolving mission needs.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations and liaison between leadership, directorates, and user engagement teams.
  • Support MID Front Office in all business functions to ensure smooth performance of the directorate’s mission.
  • Develop and provide briefings, data, and information for MID senior leadership meetings.
  • Provide senior executive level support for MID meetings and reviews (point papers, minutes, slides).
  • Develop a monthly roadmap and annual strategy for MID senior leadership engagement.
  • Facilitate MID senior leadership exchanges and draft/edit executive correspondence.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of key MID partners and synthesize information into directorate responses.
  • Ensure MID correspondence packages meet NRO standards and maintain accuracy and relevance.
  • Develop and maintain executive-level reports.

Responsibilities

The Systems Engineer Senior Technical Specialist will support the customers Technical Action Group (TAG) which serves as the “Engine Room” for the Directorate and is responsible for maintaining a baseline knowledge of customer's posture to meet evolving mission needs of our various Customers/Partners.

This Role Will Include
  • Supporting the Technical Sensitive Activities Program.
  • Providing vital technical and mission expertise to the Directorate leadership and be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the organization and serving as a key liaison between the executive, the directorates Offices and Groups, and the User Engagement Teams.
  • Supporting the MID Front Office (FO) in all business functions required to ensure smooth performance of the directorate’s mission and the senior leadership team’s responsibilities.
  • Developing and providing preparatory briefings, data, and information to ensure the MID FO are properly informed and prepared for participation in senior-level meetings.
  • Providing senior executive level support (e.g., write point papers, document meeting minutes/action items, create power point presentations, etc.) for MID meetings, forums, technical reviews, design reviews, program status reviews, business reviews, all hands, off-sites, protocol events, conferences, etc.
  • Developing a monthly roadmap and annual strategy for MID senior leadership engagement based on customer leadership plans, MID strategic guidance, and office goals.
  • Facilitating MID senior leadership exchanges.
  • Drafting and editing executive correspondence.
  • Developing in-depth knowledge of key partners supported by MID.
  • Synthesizing information received from MID entities into a directorate level response to create communications and business documentation.
  • Providing technical review and/or preparing all MID correspondence packages ensuring adherence to NRO administrative standards, technical accuracy, completeness, consistency, proper classification, and relevance of responses.
  • Developing and maintaining executive-level reports.
Qualifications
Required
  • Requires 12 to 15 years with BS or 10 to 13 years with MS or 10+ years with a Ph.D. in a STEM field
  • Must possess and be able to maintain a TS/SCI clearance with Poly
  • Expertise with the customers' mission technical capabilities and have conducted analysis and assessments
  • Experience with Mission Planning, Control or Processing functions in support of space and ground architecture
  • Strong business acumen; ability to relate professionally inside the work environment with the customer and multiple internal and external mission partners

This is the projected compensation range for this position. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
