Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Security Specialist to support the USCENTCOM Special Security Office (SSO) by managing command information, personnel, and physical security programs.

The role includes training on command security practices, updating security publications, and coordinating courier and material handling for classified information in a demanding DoD environment.

Qualifications

• 5 years of related security experience or an Associate’s degree with relevant DoD/CSO field experience.
• Experience with JPAS, Scattered Castles, CATS, DISS or equivalent Personnel Security System.
• DoD/DIA guidance familiarity and ability to implement SETA programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide multi-discipline Security Specialists support to USCENTCOM SSO and manage security programs.
• Brief and train command security practices for indoctrination briefings to promote SETA.
• Update local security publications consistent with DoD/DIA guidance and maintain the SSO webpage.

Essential Responsibilities

The employeeshall provide multi-discipline Security Specialists to provide support to the USCENTCOM Special Security Office (CCJ2-SSO) in managing the Command Information Security, Personnel Security, and Physical Security Programs.The employee shallbrief and train proper command security practices for the Command Security Indoctrination briefings to promote Security Education, Training & Awareness (SETA). The employee shall update local security publications asrequired, consistent with DoD/DIA guidance. The employee shall provide input into CENTCOM history reports andmaintainthe SSO webpage. The employee shall inspect and draft written feedback in support of the Command Inspection Program. The employee shall coordinate, track, document, brief,trainand issue courier authorization in support of the Courier Authorization Program. The employee shall coordinate with customers and Defense Courier Service staff for the delivery and pickup of classifiedmaterial andprovideSME guidance for forward deployed units.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum5 years of related security experience or Associate’s degree with experience working at a COCOM, or deployed SSO with two of the following: Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (DoD), experience with wireless security and a strong Physical Security background and experience using AMAG and DS CCTVB; OR Expertise using JPAS, Scattered Castles, CATS, DISS or equivalent Personnel Security System, SETA program.

Compensation Details

$75,000.00 - $85,000.00
