Job summary

ECS is seeking a Mid-level SIEM Engineer to support a U.S. Government civilian agency from our Washington, DC office. This full-time role focuses on security engineering, SIEM administration, and developing secure system designs and dashboards for real-time monitoring by ISSOs.

The candidate should have 5+ years of security engineering experience, a Bachelor’s degree or higher, and an active Public Trust or eligibility. CRS/CRIBL experience is desirable and familiarity with eGRC is beneficial.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical field.
  • 5+ years security engineering experience and SIEM administration
  • Certifications in security and risk management, asset security, security engineering, communications and network security, IAM, security assessment and testing, security operations, software development security, system security, network infrastructure
  • Active Public Trust clearance or eligible to obtain a Public Trust clearance

Responsibilities

  • Design hardware, operating systems, and software to address cybersecurity requirements.
  • Design and develop cybersecurity products and interfaces.
  • Develop and direct system testing and validation procedures and documentation.
  • Create dashboards using SIEM and eGRC for real-time monitoring of agency information systems.
  • Develop security design documentation for component specifications.
  • Implement security designs for new or existing systems.
  • Incorporate vulnerability solutions into system designs.
  • Create and track metrics using the dashboard in the SIEM/eGRC solution.
  • Design and test secure interfaces between information and physical systems.
