In this role, you will be the primary guardian of our facility during overnight hours, ensuring the safety of our property, assets, and any late-shift personnel. A successful Mid shift Security Guard keeps our facility safe through proactive observation and consistent routines. On a typical shift, you will:
Conduct regular foot patrols of the interior and exterior of the facility to ensure all doors, windows, and gates are locked and secure.
Monitor security cameras and alarm systems from the control station, quickly investigating any unusual activity.
Manage visitor access at the main entrance, verifying identities and logging vehicles or guests entering the property during off-hours.
Write clear, concise daily shift logs and incident reports when necessary.
Serve as the primary point of contact for emergency services (police, fire, medical) if an urgent situation arises.
Identify and report any maintenance hazards, such as broken locks, burnt-out security lights, or water leaks.
We are looking for dependable individuals who meet the following criteria:
A high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
The physical ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs for extended periods, both indoors and outdoors, in various weather conditions.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to read, write, and speak English clearly to complete reports and coordinate with emergency personnel.
High reliability and a strong sense of personal responsibility, as you will often work with minimal direct supervision.
The ability to pass a background check and drug screening in compliance with local regulations.
