Job summary

KLN Family Brands is seeking an Assistant Production Supervisor on the Mid Shift (2:40pm–11:00pm) at Kenny's Candy and Confections in Perham, MN. You will lead production staff, enforce quality standards, and train employees on work instructions to ensure safe, efficient operations.

You will partner with the Production Supervisor to deploy standard works, monitor performance, coordinate maintenance, and cover vacations when needed while upholding the company’s values and policies.

Qualifications

• Self-motivated with good judgement and communication skills.
• Ability to drive forklift and pass certification.
• Basic computer skills.
• Occasionally lifting up to 80 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provides visible leadership and guidance to production staff to foster continuous improvements and best practices.
• Works with Production Supervisor to establish and deploy standard works for all associates.
• Ensures production schedule is met with lines running at expected rates; reviews waste and downtime and takes action to improve results.
• Ability to perform all job functions in adherence to Kenny’s Candy and Confections’ philosophy and values.
• Fully understand equipment to adjust, troubleshoot, and maintain lines; coordinate maintenance within the shift.
• Assist in transfer of information between first, second and third shift.
• Act as a relief Supervisor covering for vacations or unexpected absences.
• Accepts other duties as assigned.
