Job summary

Wellpath is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for mid-shift coverage in Montana. You will provide direct patient care under RN supervision, administer medications, monitor patient status, and contribute to care plans in a correctional or healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Minimum one year clinic experience preferred.
• Have and maintain current licensure as an LPN in the state of employment.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' physical, psychological, and social dimensions; contribute to treatment planning and consult with RNs and staff.
• Administer medications, including IV therapy (if certified), and perform diagnostic tests per protocols.
• Collaborate in controlled substance counts and respond to codes or health emergencies.
• Assist in medical or minor surgical procedures, implement nutrition and therapeutic diet plans, and document nursing encounters.
• Attend mandatory staff meetings and training sessions to ensure high-quality patient care.

Education
