Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America is seeking a Labeler Operator for the mid shift to run the Krones labelers, Video Jet Coder and related equipment in a packaging setting. You will ensure correct label stock and film labels, record data, and maintain an organized label rack and documentation.

Responsibilities include assisting in shift changeovers, troubleshooting label issues, and maintaining GMP compliance. Pay starts at $18.50 per hour with a $0.50 shift differential for late shifts, plus a 90-day

Qualifications

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
• Able to communicate effectively in writing and speech (English).
• Must pass pre-employment physical and drug screen.
• Must attain a Forklift Operator License within 30 days of hiring.

Responsibilities

• Oversees label application process including jar coding and related equipment.
• Ensures correct label stock and film labels are used.
• Records data and maintains production and breakdown documentation.
• Maintains organized label rack and tags partial boxes.
• Communicates change-over information to relief operators.
• Investigates label issues and performs corrective adjustments.
• Monitors glue application and proper label placement.
• Performs sanitation and change-over/shutdown cleaning.
• Maintains clean, stocked work area and performs SAP inventory entries.
• Assists in training new operator and adheres to GMPs.
