Job summary

Peraton seeks a Mid-Level RF Compatibility Test Engineer to support NASA in Greenbelt, MD. You will perform RF compatibility testing between user spacecraft and ground networks, using a CTL at GSFC, with responsibilities ranging from test plan review to data collection and result reporting.

Responsibilities include configuring RF/test equipment, interfacing networks, and supporting automated test procedures. U.S. citizenship and DoD clearance eligibility required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering/Science/Math or related field with experience.
• Knowledge of RF systems and measurement practice.
• Ability to configure RF test equipment independently.
• Experience with baseband devices and test plans.
• Proficiency in MS Excel/PowerPoint/Visio/Word.
• US citizenship and DoD clearance eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Test SR/DTE RF compatibility per plan.
• Review requirements and test procedures.
• Set up and checkout test equipment.
• Interface local networks, data, clocks and references.
• Support test team with procedures and knowledge.
• Gather and summarize test results.
• Travel to off-site locations for tests.
• Perform RF testing across RF and baseband interfaces.
• Develop automation for COTS software in tests.
• Refine reporting templates for data.
