Job summary

Bolder Apps is seeking a mid-senior LLM Application Engineer to design, ship, and harden AI pipelines for client products on a remote monthly retainer. You will own structured extraction, multimodal prompts, and cost-aware production systems, with emphasis on Gemini and other leading LLM stacks.

You will collaborate with product, mobile, and QA teams to deliver scalable back-end solutions on Firebase/GCP-style backends and ensure high quality with clear runbooks and metrics.

Qualifications

• Shipped LLM applications for real users (production-grade)
• Strong experience with Google Gemini and multimodal workflows
• Proficient in backend integration with serverless cloud environments
• Familiarity with structured data extraction and classification pipelines

Responsibilities

• Own production LLM pipelines end to end: ingestion, model calls, structured records, and storage
• Design prompts and schemas for consistent outputs
• Build classification and filtering on top of extraction
• Define evaluation harnesses and quality gates
• Optimize token usage, caching, and latency
• Harden reliability for long-running jobs
• Document architecture and runbooks
• Stay current on Gemini and other LLM APIs
• Shipped LLM apps with prompts, retries, and observability
• Collaborate with mobile and QA teams
• Provide practical cost and performance tradeoffs
