Duties:

  1. Provide legal counsel and support on matters related to the Investment Company Act and Investment Advisers Act.
  2. Advise clients on regulatory compliance and structuring for closed-end funds, including tender offer funds, interval funds, and business development companies.
  3. Assist with legal and regulatory issues related to open-end funds and ETFs, if applicable.
  4. Draft and review fund formation documents, regulatory filings, and other legal documents.
  5. Conduct legal research and provide strategic advice on investment funds and related regulatory matters.
  6. Collaborate with clients, regulatory agencies, and internal teams to address legal issues and ensure compliance.
  7. Manage complex legal projects and cases, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues.
  8. Stay abreast of developments in investment fund regulations and industry trends.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • At least 4 years of experience in investment funds law, specifically related to the Investment Company Act and Investment Advisers Act.
