Major Responsibilities:- Identify, map, measure, analyze, and improve clinical and business processes. Perform workflow analysis and map out critical business processes using industry standards and best practices.
- Develop test plans, cases, and scripts to validate performance of clinical/business functions. Conduct testing, track issues, and document outcomes.
- Facilitate clinical/business processes to ensure successful software transitions and system utilization. Identify opportunities for application development and process improvements.
- Translate user requirements into functional design specifications in collaboration with IT. Review with users for accuracy and ensure data integrity.
- Maintain process documentation, including workflows, requirements, specifications, and user manuals. Complete change and quality control documentation.
- Review data integrity reports, resolve issues, and analyze opportunities for system improvements. Collaborate with IT to implement changes.
- Develop and deliver end-user training modules. Evaluate training effectiveness and update curricula as needed.
- Consult with providers and leadership to resolve issues related to equipment and applications.
- Contribute to project timelines and ensure successful project completion within deadlines.
Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:Education Required:- Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or related field.
Experience Required:- Typically 3 years in business process mapping, analysis, requirements definition, testing, and documentation in the relevant area.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:- For HIM/HB Support Analysts: RHIA or RHIT certification by AHIMA.
- For PB Support Analysts: CPC certification by AAPC.
- Experience supporting clinical systems, analyzing processes, and training users.
- Project management skills and experience with project management software.
- Analytical skills for data-driven recommendations and process improvement.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and be detail-oriented.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Intermediate computer skills, including MS Office and large-scale systems.
- Understanding of change management practices.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:- Normal office environment; may require travel and lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Sitting most of the day, with occasional reaching and bending.
- Operate necessary equipment.
