Qualysoft GmbH in the United States is seeking a skilled mobile developer to design, build, test, and maintain cross‑platform apps using React Native and Expo. You will integrate with REST APIs, ensure secure storage, and collaborate with Product, QA, Backend, and DevOps teams to deliver robust mobile solutions.

The role requires 3+ years of experience, strong JS/TS skills, and solid UI design sensibilities.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with React Native.
• Experience with Expo and the Expo ecosystem.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Good understanding of React concepts, hooks, state management, and reusable UI design.
• Experience developing and consuming REST APIs.
• Experience with mobile navigation, application state management, local storage, and asynchronous data handling.
• Understanding of iOS and Android platform differences and mobile application lifecycle.
• Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Experience with debugging, profiling, testing, and troubleshooting mobile applications.
• Understanding of mobile security concepts, authentication, authorization, and secure storage.
• Experience using GitHub Copilot or similar AI-assisted development tools.
• Ability to analyze requirements and independently deliver moderately complex mobile features.
• Good communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, test, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native and Expo.
• Build reusable, maintainable, and responsive mobile UI components.
• Integrate mobile applications with REST APIs and backend services.
• Implement authentication, authorization, secure data storage, and session management.
• Develop features using native mobile capabilities such as GPS, camera, notifications, and background tasks.
• Handle application state, networking, caching, offline scenarios, and synchronization.
• Optimize application performance, stability, startup time, and resource usage.
• Troubleshoot and resolve defects, crashes, API issues, and platform-specific behavior.
• Write and maintain unit, integration, and UI tests.
• Participate in code reviews and improve mobile architecture and coding standards.
• Support application builds, releases, and deployment to App Store and Google Play.
• Collaborate with Product, QA, Backend, and DevOps teams throughout development and production support.
• Use GitHub Copilot and other AI-assisted tools to improve productivity while ensuring code quality.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native and Expo.
• Build reusable, maintainable, and responsive mobile UI components.
• Integrate mobile applications with REST APIs and backend services.
• Implement authentication, authorization, secure data storage, and session management.
• Develop features using native mobile capabilities such as GPS/location, camera, notifications, background tasks, and device storage when required.
• Handle application state, networking, caching, offline scenarios, and synchronization.
• Optimize application performance, stability, startup time, and resource usage.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application defects, crashes, API integration issues, and platform-specific behavior.
• Write and maintain unit, integration, and UI tests.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving mobile architecture, coding standards, and development practices.
• Support application builds, releases, and deployment to Apple App Store and Google Play.
• Collaborate with Product, QA, Backend, and DevOps teams throughout development, testing, release, and production support.
• Use GitHub Copilot and other approved AI-assisted development tools to improve coding, testing, refactoring, and development productivity while ensuring code quality and correctness.
