Job description

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of DataGrail. We are currently looking for a Mid-Market Solutions Engineer in the United States.

As a Mid-Market Solutions Engineer, you’ll play a vital role in connecting innovative privacy technology with the real-world needs of prospective clients. You’ll be the technical voice in the sales process—translating complex features into clear value for stakeholders ranging from legal teams to CISOs and engineers. In a collaborative and fast-moving environment, you’ll showcase tailored demos, answer in-depth product questions, and support successful evaluations. This remote role (aligned to East Coast business hours) offers strong growth potential, working alongside seasoned professionals while sharpening your sales engineering skills.

Accountabilities:

  • Deliver compelling product demos that highlight the value and impact of the platform across diverse use cases.
  • Act as the technical liaison for prospective mid-market clients, effectively communicating solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Engage with stakeholders from legal, compliance, and IT teams, establishing credibility and trust throughout the sales process.
  • Answer RFIs and RFPs with precision, escalating technical queries when needed while maintaining ownership of the process.
  • Support proof-of-concept engagements and deeper technical evaluations, guiding prospects through validations with clarity and confidence.
  • Collaborate closely with sales partners to tailor presentations and materials, ensuring each engagement aligns with the client’s specific needs.
  • Stay current on privacy technologies and industry trends to anticipate prospect questions and provide strategic insight.
  • Contribute to a team-focused environment, sharing best practices and continuously leveling up through feedback and learning.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts in a clear and engaging manner to diverse audiences.
  • Hands-on knowledge or exposure to privacy, compliance, or data security technologies—whether through consulting, implementation, or technical sales roles.
  • Professional presence and confidence during live presentations, even when facing unexpected questions or challenges.
  • Proven ability to quickly learn and master new technologies and products, with a mindset oriented toward continuous improvement.
  • Experience supporting the full sales lifecycle from initial demo to closing, including deeper technical evaluations.
  • Strong organizational skills, reliability, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting aligned to East Coast business hours.
  • Bonus if you have previous experience working in a high-growth SaaS or startup environment.
  • Competitive OTE compensation: $120,000–$140,000 USD annually (salary + variable).
  • Equity grants available for all full-time employees.
  • Remote-first work environment with flexibility to structure your day.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance plans.
  • 401(k) savings plan.
  • Generous parental leave and wellness benefits.
  • Flexible time off and paid company holidays.
  • Annual work-from-home stipend to support your remote setup.
