Job summary

Integrated Power Services (IPS) is seeking a skilled welder/fabricator to complete welding jobs for diverse structures, in both shop and field settings. You will design, cut, weld, and assemble metal components, maintaining high standards and precise tolerances.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of welding experience, proficiency in TIG/MIG/ARC and dual-shield processes, and the ability to read blueprints. A high school diploma is preferred and a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of welding/fabrication experience, mid-level or higher
• Experience with TIG, MIG, ARC, and dual-shield welding
• Stainless TIG experience for industrial beams is a plus
• Pipe welding experience is a plus
• Familiar with welding tools, procedures, and blueprint symbols
• High school diploma preferred; welding certificates are a plus

Responsibilities

• Design, cut, shape, and weld metal pieces per specifications
• Prepare materials for welding, fabricate, grind, and clean metal
• Complete fabrication phases using appropriate skills
• Follow blueprints to meet exact output specifications
• Provide input on assembly order, materials, and fixtures
• Note customer blueprints for reference and improvements
• Conceptualize fixtures and jigs as needed
• Ensure documentation follows standardized work processes
• Produce high-quality, accurate welds and finished parts
• Inspect and test welds and equipment to ensure safety and strength
