Job summary

Carollo Engineers, Inc. is seeking a seasoned water/wastewater engineer to lead planning, design, and construction support for critical water infrastructure projects in Georgia. You will collaborate with clients and project teams, perform system modeling, and contribute to reports and specifications.

Required: a Civil/Environmental engineering degree and 6–12 years of experience; GA PE or eligibility within six months; strong communication skills and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil, environmental or related engineering required.
• 6–12 years of directly relevant water/wastewater engineering experience requested.
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration in Georgia or ability to obtain within six months.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking and innovative problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering work in water and wastewater treatment and conveyance infrastructure.
• Engage in planning and design projects and prepare reports.
• Develop plans, specifications and cost estimates for projects.
• Model systems and participate in permitting analyses.

Responsibilities

• Performing engineering work in water and wastewater treatment and conveyance infrastructure
• Work on engineering planning and design projects
• Prepare reports
• Develop plans and specifications
• Prepare cost estimates for various water and wastewater projects
• System modeling
• Permitting and alternative analysis
• Preparation of technical memoranda, reports and electronic deliverables
• Data entry and analysis
• Provide engineering services during construction
• Participate in field activities such as pilot testing
• Experience as a project manager or deputy project manager

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Environmental or related Engineering
• 6 to 12 years of directly-relevant experience in water and wastewater engineering
• Registration as a Professional Engineer in the state of Georgia or the ability to obtain within six months
• Application of engineering principles including critical thinking, analysis, and innovative techniques
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Work well in a team environment
• Have the ability to communicate effectively with clients and project team
• Highly motivated, articulate, and self-starting
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
