Job summary

Jacobs seeks a Mid-Level Water Engineer to join our West Central offices, working on water treatment, water resources, and related projects with a collaborative team in an open, growth‑minded environment.

You will contribute to design, analysis, and reporting while expanding expertise and earning the PE license within six months. The role features a hybrid work model and a strong benefits package to support your professional journey.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Environmental, or Civil Engineering.
  • 6+ years of engineering experience in water related disciplines (water treatment, water resources, drinking water; wastewater and sewer; etc).
  • Professional Engineer license or ability to obtain within 6 months.
  • Experience developing drawings and specifications and/or with computer modeling.
  • Experience writing engineering technical reports and presentations.
  • Foundational experience with MS Office 365 (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience or working knowledge with Bluebeam, Autodesk and/or Bentley CAD platforms.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to deliver and lead tasks.
  • Attention to detail, quality delivery, and client service.

Here's what you'll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Environmental, or Civil Engineering.

Ideally, you’ll also have
  • Master’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, or related discipline
  • Design and/or project management experience

The base salary range for this position is $95,200.00 to $172,850.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
