Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Mid-Level Water Engineer in the Denver area to help reinvent tomorrow by solving water-related challenges. You will collaborate with a talented team, work across water treatment, resources, and infrastructure disciplines, and contribute to client projects in a hybrid work setting.

The role requires a PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months, 6+ years in water engineering, and strong CAD/reporting skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Environmental, or Civil Engineering.
• At least 6 years of engineering experience in water disciplines (water treatment, water resources, drinking water; wastewater and sewer; etc.).
• Professional Engineer (PE) license, or ability to obtain within 6‑months.
• Experience developing drawings and specifications, and/or with computer modeling.
• Experience writing engineering technical reports and presentations.
• Foundational experience with MS Office 365 (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Experience or working knowledge with Bluebeam, Autodesk and/or Bentley CAD platforms
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to deliver and lead tasks
• Attention to detail, quality delivery, and client service

Here's what you'll need

• Master’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, or related discipline
• Design and/or project management experience

The base salary range for this position is $95,200.00 to $172,850.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
