Mob Entertainmentis a startup multimedia studio that is best known for our hit indie horror game "Poppy Playtime". This franchise is one of the hottest new properties in gaming, and our team is naturally expanding as our ambition expands. To give a taste of our brand's popularity, more than 100 billion YouTube views of Poppy Playtime related content have occured since the game's launch 4 years ago.

Mob Entertainment is seeking a Mid-Level Producer to help guide the tech and quality assurance teams during development for the future of the Poppy Playtime franchise, starting with our upcoming release. You’ll be responsible for collaborating with team leads across disciplines, ensuring teams are set up for success and focused on delivering high value impact.

We’re looking for someone with strong communication, proactive planning, organizational skills, and risk mitigation who can drive progress in an evolving production environment. You’ll be empowered to shape the process, support your teams, and create alignment for them to thrive in delivering a game we’re all proud of.

Responsibilities:
  • Production Ownership: Plan and drive sprint cycles, standups, task tracking, and milestone execution in collaboration with team leads.

  • Milestone & Delivery Planning: Build and maintain development schedules with a focus on scope clarity, risk management, and deliverable tracking.

  • Build Management: Partner with QA and tech leads to coordinate internal and external builds, patch planning, and milestone submissions.

  • Team Empowerment: Identify blockers early, resolve issues collaboratively, and support a healthy remote work culture built on trust and transparency.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience as a Producer or Associate Producer in game development, preferably on remote or distributed teams.

  • Experience supporting mid-sized teams (40–80+) through full development cycles.

  • Strong knowledge of project management tools like Jira, Confluence, Google Suite, and Slack.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills tailored to remote-first collaboration.

  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities independently.
Pluses
  • Shipped a title using Unreal Engine on PC or console.
  • Familiarity with Unreal Engine and understanding of its development workflows (e.g., Blueprints, asset streaming, build packaging).
  • Experience working in indie, AA, or creatively driven game environments.
  • Familiarity with source control systems like Perforce.
  • Passion for process improvement, team culture, and sustainable development practices.
  • An obsession for horror games.

Performance Expectations

  • Drive the vision, quality, and execution of the project.
  • Empower and support the tech and quality assurance teams, helping them succeed within project goals and constraints.
  • Monitor and report overall progress for assigned teams on a regular basis.
  • Identify slippage and drive solutions to get the teams to deliver on schedule.
  • Facilitate action items when teams are critically blocked

  • Works closely with: Game Director, Tech Director, QA Manager, Production Team, Team Leads
