Job summary

Spectrum Control is seeking a Test Technician II to verify and test filters, hybrids, VCOs and IMAs to meet specs. You will troubleshoot equipment, document fixtures, and maintain test processes on the manufacturing floor.

You will assist engineers with building or procuring test fixtures and participate in process validations while supporting Lean manufacturing efforts and production improvements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, associate degree or equivalent microelectronics experience.
• Experience in electrical engineering or technology is preferred.
• Ability to read technical schematics, blueprints and electrical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, measure and test products using electronic measuring equipment and microscope.
• Interpret test schedules, work orders and diagrams to determine testing procedures.
• Connect and tune units using test equipment such as VOM, power supply, signal generator and network analyzer.
• Perform final acceptance testing per customer specifications.
• Assist engineers with projects by building or procuring test equipment and validating processes.
• Support Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives in production.
