Overview i3 is seeking a Mid-Level Test Engineer/Analyst to join a well-established team in an AVMC lab that supports the development, test, and fielding of a tactical missile defense system. The selected candidate will work with real-time hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) systems, tactical software & hardware, and digital representations of complex missile defense systems.
Common tasks for this position include analysis tool design and development, and complex analysis on missile defense system and/or algorithm performance. The selected candidate will develop and maintain test cases to support software integration and system integration. The selected candidate may support a broad range of projects including performance analysis, modeling & simulation (M&S), post-flight reconstruction, and integration and risk reduction efforts. Apply practical engineering knowledge across a broad range of established system engineering principles, concepts, and methods. Analyze and document results of test cases in software and hardware test report documentation. Develop system requirements to support system functionality.
