Belay Technologies seeks a Mid-Level Technical Engineer to join our intel team in Annapolis, MD. The role emphasizes verifying interfaces with ITS components and meeting compliance requirements.

Qualified candidates will hold a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, a BS with 5 years of experience (or equivalent), and solid Linux/Java testing skills across multiple OS environments.

• Experience with PKE, RESTful services, containers, Java, Perl, Java EE

• 2 years testing Java or GoLang; 3 years testing Linux/Unix/Windows
• 2 years messaging service testing (e.g., Kafka)

Belay Technologies is seeking a Mid-Level Technical Engineer to join our intel team. The candidate will verify applications properly interface and operate with ITS components and meet established compliance requirements.

Candidates should have the following qualifications:

• TS/SCI Clearance with polygraph


• Must have a B.S. with 5 years of experience; Or no degree with 10 years of experience.


• Five (5) years’ experience as a TE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.


• Public Key Enabling (PKE), RESTful services and containers (Oracle WebLogic, JBoss, Tomcat), Java programming language, Perl programming language, Java EE, Secure web (SSL), and file encryption.


• LDAP (RedHat directory), Java Linux (CentOS), Modern IDEs (IntelliJ, Eclipse, etc.) and Agile Scrum process.


• Two (2) years' experience testing products written in Java or GoLang. Three (3) years' experience testing in Linux, Unix, Windows, or Cisco OS operating system.


• Two (2) years' experience testing a Messaging Service (such as JavaxMessaging Service, TIBCO, ActiveMQ, Artemis, Kafka).


• One (1) year experience using automated testing tools.

Candidates are required to have the following skills:

• Develop, execute, and document test cases, procedures, and results throughout the test life cycle.
  Identify, troubleshoot, document, and track defects and issues through resolution.


• Perform testing and troubleshooting in Linux environments using command-line tools as needed.


• Support compliance testing against defined technical, security, and operational requirements.


• Work with engineering and operations teams to investigate issues and validate corrective actions.


• Contribute to improving testing processes and test automation capabilities.


• Solid understanding of and hands-on experience with Linux environments.


• Experience performing application-level testing and troubleshooting.
