Job summary

Boeing Intelligence & Analytics (BI&A) seeks a Mid Level Technical Writer to prepare and maintain operations documentation, user guides and manuals for complex DoD programs. The role involves writing technical copy, interpreting engineering drawings and collaborating with engineers and SMEs to produce high-quality publications.

The successful candidate will have a TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance, a technical degree, and at least six years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Six years of experience as a Technical Writer on programs and contracts of similar scope.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university.
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and maintaining operations documentation, user guides and manuals and technical publications.
• Write technical copy for a wide range of documents supporting complex programs and projects.
• Apply technical writing concepts based on engineering drawings, technical documentation, consultations with engineers and SMEs.
• Produce defense acquisition documentation, user manuals, training manuals, and other deliverables used by DoD end-users.
• Interpret engineering and maintenance drawings, operational procedures, and technical data to present complex information clearly.
