Job summary

The Boeing Company is seeking a Mid-Level Systems Administrator in Seattle, WA to support Site IT Infrastructure for AD programs. You will install, secure, and maintain the dedicated program IT infrastructure that enables logistics, manufacturing, and engineering teams.

You will work on Windows servers and desktops, VMware ESX environments, and security controls in closed networks, with opportunities for growth and a potential signing bonus for qualified external candidates.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and administering Windows Server (2016 or later) and Windows desktop OS (Windows 10 or later)
• 3+ years of experience in hardware installation, modification and testing
• 3+ years of experience implementing software
• Ability to obtain access to SAP
• Active Security+ certification or the ability to obtain the certification within 6 months of your start date

Responsibilities

• Analyze and support a broad range of basic systems and application support activities
• Provide support for Windows Operating Systems (OS)
• Provide basic network support
• Support of VMware ESX environments
• Provide operations support for both servers and desktop systems
• Provide analysis of computing requirements
• Install, configure, and maintain systems hardware, software and components
• Ensure computing inventory tracking and shipping
• Document and implement computer applications
• Provide restoration of basic computing service operation
• Support activities to ensure security of information and systems
• Provide comprehensive computing support in closed environments
• Protect classified and proprietary information
• Support security audits as assigned
• Maintain knowledge of various government and corporate security plans
