Responsibilities

Belay Technologies is seeking a Mid-Level System Engineer (Education and Training Sustainment) to join our intel team.

Candidates should have the following qualifications:

• TS/SCI Clearance with polygraph
• Bachelor's degree from anaccredited college or university in System Engineer, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, orrelated discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
• Fourteen (14) years of experience in SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity

Candidates are required to possess the following capabilities:

• Manage system requirementsand derived requirement to ensure delivery of production systems that are compatible with defined system architecture(s) - Department of Defense Architecture Farmwork (SoDAF), Service-oriented Architecture (SOA), etc.
• Analyze user requirement to derive software design and performance requirements
• Investigate and analyze system and user problems to identify potential solutions or fixes
• Debug existing software and correct defects
• Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operation environments
• Provide recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards
• Develop, mortify, and implement algorithms to address system performance or functional issues in operational systems
• Assist with developing and executing test procedures for software components
• Write or review software and system documentation
• Develop software solutions by analyzing system performance standards, confer with users or system engineer: analyze systems flow, data usage and work process: and investigate problem areas
• Modify existing software to correct errors, to adapt to new hardware, or to improve its performance
• Design, develop and modify software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design
• Design or implement complex database
• or data repository interfaces/queries
• Oversee one or more software development or sustainment teams and ensure the work is completed in accordance with the constraints of the software development process being used on any particular project
• Design or implement complex algorithms requiring adherence to strict timing, system resource, or interface constraints
• Serve as the technical lead of multiple software development or sustainment teams
• Recommend new technologies and processes for complex software projects
• Ensure quality control of all developed and modified software
• Delegate programming and testing responsibilities to one or more teams and monitor their performance

Salary Range: $105,000 to $200,000
