Job summary

LJB Inc. in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Mid-Level Structural Revit Designer to join our office and produce structural drawing packages to support client projects with deadlines.

You will transform conceptual designs into working documents using Revit, coordinate with project managers and engineers, and uphold quality standards across the drawings.

Salary range $60,000 to $100,000 per year, with opportunities for growth across fourteen offices and professional development.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree in drafting, design, or engineering technologies is strongly preferred.
• CAD Drafting Certificate with relevant work experience is acceptable.
• Minimum continuous five+ years of industry design experience using Revit.
• Proficient in Bluebeam and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine to moderately complex drafting and detailing to produce accurate drawings and plans necessary for fabrication and construction in accordance with customer contract documents, industry standards, and established company practices and procedures.
• Coordinate and communicate with Project Managers, Engineers, and Designers within the office and from other offices to develop construction documents.
• Transform conceptual/schematic designs using Revit into working construction documents.
• Review drawings to ensure adherence to established specifications and standards, and perform routine drafting and technical tasks as required throughout the project duration.
• Participate in the preparation of schematic design, design development, construction documentation, and any additional drawings using Revit.
• Maintain quality standards, format special requirements, etc., as mandated by office production standards.
• Coordinate working drawing information with related external sources and consultants.
• Other duties as assigned.

We are currently seeking a Mid-Level Structural Revit Designer to join our Charlotte, North Carolina office to create structural drawing packages to provide solutions and achieve design goals for LJB’s clients by a set deadline.

Salary Range: $60,000-$100,000 based upon experience, certifications, and regional market standards.

MID-LEVEL STRUCTURAL REVIT DESIGNER ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Perform routine to moderately complex drafting and detailing to produce accurate drawings and plans necessary for fabrication and construction in accordance with customer contract documents, industry standards, and established company practices and procedures.
• Coordinate and communicate with Project Managers, Engineers, and Designers within the office and from other offices to develop construction documents.

MID-LEVEL STRUCTURAL REVIT DESIGNER ESSENTIAL CREDENTIALS:

Required Qualifications:

• Two-year technical degree in drafting, design, or engineering technologies is strongly preferred, or a CAD Drafting Certificate with relevant work experience.
• Minimum continuous five+ years of industry design experience using Revit.
• Proficient in Bluebeam and Microsoft Office.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5 years of structural industry experience.
• Continuing education/professional development in Revit (Structural).
• Experience with 3D perspectives from LiDAR and other scans.

Core Skills:
