We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Structural Engineer in Boise, ID. As a Structural Engineering Professional, part of our Cities and Places team, you will be an integral member of the design team. You will have the opportunity to perform structural analysis and design for a wide range of projects locally, nationally, and around the world. Structural design efforts will include design for manufacturing, education and healthcare facilities, data centers, planning studies, water and wastewater treatment facilities, technical writing and construction drawing and specification production.

You will have the opportunity to grow professionally through challenging projects and working closely with our multi‑disciplined design teams, Senior Project Managers, and our clients. Here’s what you’ll need

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with a Structural emphasis.
  • Professional Engineering Registration (P.E.) or ability to obtain.
  • Range of 5-10 years relevant professional experience for infrastructure and building‑related design projects.
  • Ability to perform as a lead structural engineer.
  • Experience working in a multi‑discipline team with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Construction support services experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with US building codes including IBC, ASCE 7, AISC.

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Master’s degree in structural engineering.
  • Structural Engineer (S.E.) license.
  • Project Management Experience.

The base salary range for this position is $85,000.00 to $130,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
