Job summary

Peraton seeks an Intermediate Intelligence Analyst to support Collection Management for a critical national defense space mission. You will transform intelligence requirements into actionable collection strategies that protect space and ground assets, coordinating with Mission Ground Stations and IC partners.

The role emphasizes overhead collection tasking, resource optimization, and risk management to support mission planning, threat warning, and operational decision-making in a dynamic space

Qualifications

• 12+ years experience w/o a degree or 10+ years with AS/AA or 8+ years with BS/BA or 6+ years with MS/MA
• 4+ years of experience supporting Defensive Space Control and/or intelligence analysis missions
• Advanced knowledge of foreign and domestic space and ground-system threat capabilities
• Active TS/SCI clearance with adjudicated Polygraph

Responsibilities

• Lead mission-critical space intelligence efforts and deliver actionable intelligence to decision-makers across six space operations centers.
• Manage intelligence collection requirements and requests through established processes and systems (NMRS, COLISEUM, and related frameworks).
• Translate EEIs into operational collection requirements and tasking strategies.
• Develop intelligence assessments with an operational focus identifying threats and opportunities to enhance space domain awareness.
• Identify and communicate indications and warnings related to foreign space and ground threats impacting operations.
• Support integration, testing, and transition of new I&W tools to align with mission requirements.
• Maintain awareness of collection capacities and risks, and assist in planning and execution of training and exercises.
• Collaborate across teams to synchronize intelligence support and collection activities.
• Maintain critical data resources and system expertise to support real-world operations.
• Develop TTPs to improve mission protection and operational effectiveness.
• Provide timely risk assessments to senior leaders and participate in executive briefings.
