Job summary

Ampersand Solutions Group is looking for a Mid-Level Software Test Analyst to support the US Army on the S3I Software Mission Assurance contract. The successful candidate will identify and assess software vulnerabilities, facilitate feedback on security reports, and provide expertise in radar algorithm development.

Qualified individuals should have an ABET-accredited BS in computer science or related field, experience in Object-Oriented Programming, and comfort with DoD security clearance requirements.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of task-related experience.
• Familiarity with algorithm development.
• Experience with static and dynamic software code scanning.
• Practical knowledge of C/C++, Ada, PERL, HTML, and/or Python.

Responsibilities

Mid-Level Software Test Analyst - DoD Clearance Required

Full-time

In support of the US Army through the S3I Software Mission Assurance contract.

Responsibilities include:

• Identify and assess high-priority findings from static and dynamic software scans.
• Provide cyber software testing, security, and vulnerability scans of tactical radar software source files to identify run-time, logic, and other software errors and vulnerabilities.
• Review, provide feedback on, and facilitate the delivery of security posture/report detailing the results of the software scans and any recommended software changes to the customer.
• Coordinate with personnel from a DoD Joint Federated Assurance Center (JFAC) to distinguish true findings from false positives.
• Provide expertise and support in radar algorithm development, object-oriented programming concepts, peer-reviewing code, debugging, code maintenance, large code applications, and practical knowledge of OO design, analysis, requirements, and coding.
• Communicate effectively and work both independently and in multidisciplinary team environments.

Qualifications:

• ABET accredited BS in Computer Science, Electrical, or Computer Engineering, or related technical degree.
• 5-10 years of task-related experience.
• Experience in Object-Oriented Programming and programming language concepts.
• Familiarity with algorithm development.
• Expertise with Linux operating system.
• Some travel.
• Ability to obtain and maintain DoD security clearance.
• MS in related technical field.
• Expertise with static and dynamic software code scanning and analysis concepts.
• Experience with AN/TPY-2, SBX, or LRDR Missile Defense Radar Systems.
• Practical knowledge of C/C++, Ada, PERL, HTML, and/or Python.
