Meridian Systematics in Springfield, VA is seeking a Mid-Level Software Developer to help design, build, and deploy mission-focused software and AI-driven features. You will contribute to cloud-native applications, secure DevSecOps pipelines, and work with Generative AI technologies alongside an active Agile Scrum team.

Responsibilities include AI & application development with APIs and data pipelines, cloud & infrastructure tasks (AWS, OpenShift, Kubernetes), DevSecOps, code quality, and

Qualifications

Active TS/SCI clearance and U.S. citizenship required.
Bachelor's degree in CS, CE, SE, or related field.
5+ years of professional software engineering experience (or 8+ years in IT in lieu of a degree).
Proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala.

Responsibilities

AI & Application Development: Build software, services, and APIs, including Generative AI features and multi-stream data pipelines.
Cloud & Infrastructure: Support cloud migrations (AWS, OpenShift), containerize with Docker, and deploy in diverse environments.
DevSecOps & Code Quality: Maintain repositories, implement branching, write tests, and support security hardening.
