Job summary

SimVentions, Inc. is seeking a software engineer with 3–8 years of development experience to create and maintain software that interfaces with hardware systems.

You will design, implement, and test device communication and control features while troubleshooting integration issues and working closely with engineering teams. The role requires a Bachelor of Science in a technical field, excellent communication, and the ability to learn new languages quickly.

Qualifications

• 3–8 years of software development experience.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as C, C++, Python, or Rust if C/C++ experience is not available.
• Experience building applications that communicate with hardware devices, controllers, sensors, or industrial equipment.
• Ability to identify and resolve software and hardware integration issues.
• Ability to quickly learn new languages and technologies.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with others to meet project goals and schedules.
• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline.
• Active Secret clearance is required.
• U.S. citizenship is required to obtain a clearance.
