Job Title: Mid-Level/Senior Structured Transactions Associate Attorney

Job Overview: A prominent law firm in Chicago, IL is seeking an experienced mid-level or senior attorney to join its growing structured transactions practice group. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate and/or finance transactions, with a focus on structured finance and securitization. This is an excellent opportunity to work on complex transactions involving RMBS, ABS, CLO, and financing.

Duties:

  • Handle a diverse range of structured transactions, including securitization, corporate finance, and related structured finance matters.
  • Lead and manage various finance transactions, including residential mortgage-backed securities (RMBS), asset-backed securities (ABS), and collateralized loan obligations (CLO).
  • Work closely with senior partners and clients to provide innovative legal solutions for complex financing structures.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of finance and transaction documents.
  • Assist with client relationship management and strategic business development efforts.

Requirements:

  • Experience in structured finance, corporate, or finance transactions.
  • Demonstrated expertise in structured finance and securitization, with a preference for experience in RMBS, ABS, CLO, and financing matters.
  • Strong legal research and writing skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with clients and colleagues.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Exceptional academic credentials.

Certifications:

  • Admitted to practice law in Illinois (or eligible for admission).
