Job summary

Smartronix, LLC (SMX) is seeking a remote Mid-Level SAP ABAP Developer to translate user requirements into technical design specs and deliver ABAP solutions for a Greenfield S/4HANA implementation.

You may mentor other developers and collaborate on integrating SAP and non-SAP systems, with a focus on maintainable development practices and modern ABAP technologies such as CDS views, Fiori, and BTP.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of SAP ABAP development experience, with familiarity in S/4HANA.
• Hands-on ABAP development including HANA CDS Views and ABAP technologies.
• Experience implementing SAP Fiori and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
• Public Trust clearance or ability to obtain one.
• Proficiency in web services, APIs, and system integration.

Job description

Supporting an SAP S/4HANA Greenfield implementation project, the remote Mid-Level SAP ABAP Developer will translate user requirements into Technical Design Specifications, develop ABAP solutions, and may mentor other developers while ensuring adherence to maintainable development practices.

Key responsibilities

• Translate user requirements into Technical Design Specifications and develop corresponding ABAP solutions
• Lead or mentor other developers and conduct code reviews to promote best practices
• Integrate backend SAP and non-SAP applications while ensuring compliance with project requirements

Required qualifications

• 3-5 years of SAP ABAP development experience, with familiarity in S/4HANA
• Hands-on experience with SAP ABAP development, including HANA CDS Views and various ABAP technologies
