Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Mid-Level Renewable Energy Transactions Associate Attorney to join their team in Washington, DC. This role offers the opportunity to engage in a diverse range of renewable energy projects within a well-established national practice.

Duties

Collaborate with attorneys in the Renewable Energy group.

Engage in project development, commercial, financing, and transactional work.

Negotiate, draft, and close complex commercial agreements.

Requirements

5-7 years of experience in renewable or conventional energy transactions, or related fields.

Strong writing, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Licensed to practice in or eligible for admission in the District of Columbia.

Education

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

Admission to the bar in the District of Columbia or eligibility for admission without examination.

Skills

Experience with tax credit matters, including ITCs or PTCs, is a plus.

Proficiency in negotiating and drafting legal documents.
