About the Role

We are actively seeking talented developers proficient in React JS/TS and Tikz/PGF to join our dynamic team, dedicated to pushing the boundaries of innovative software and AI solutions. This opportunity is ideal for professionals who enjoy tackling challenging problems, developing creative solutions, and contributing to next-generation technologies in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You will work with different companies across the US, developing both commercial and research-driven solutions at the intersection of front-end development and advanced visualization.

Required Skills:

  1. Write readable, reusable, and maintainable code with a strong emphasis on scalability and efficiency.
  2. Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring code quality standards are met.
  3. Demonstrate proficiency in React JS for building complex, dynamic UIs with modern web technologies.
  4. Utilize Tikz/PGF for graphical and data-driven visualization within web applications, especially for complex charts, diagrams, and interactive graphics.
  5. Create modular, component-driven architecture to ensure maintainability and extensibility of the codebase.
  6. Design, develop, and maintain reusable code and libraries.
  7. Collaborate with back-end developers and other team members to integrate front-end and back-end components seamlessly.
  8. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  9. At least 4+ years of relevant experience in front-end development using React JS, with experience in using Tikz/PGF for rendering complex diagrams and graphics within the web environment.
  10. Experience with version control systems, especially Git, and familiarity with agile software development practices.
  11. Demonstrable experience developing high-quality, high-performance, and maintainable web applications.
  12. Proficient in written and spoken English, with strong communication skills to collaborate effectively across teams and time zones.

Summary:

  1. Nice to have: Prior experience with graphical rendering, data visualization, or charting libraries in the context of front-end development, and experience working with design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch) or design systems.
  2. Total Years of Experience: 4+ years
  3. Opportunity: Full Time Contract, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week
  4. Notice Period: 2-3 weeks only
  5. Overlap Required: 5 hours PST

Interview Process

  1. Step 1: Initial technical interview (60 minutes) to evaluate technical proficiency in React JS and Tikz/PGF, and ability to solve problems related to web visualization and UI development.
  2. Step 2: Follow-up cultural fit and offer discussion (15-30 minutes).
  3. Ensure your CV is tailored to the role and up to date. PDF version highly regarded.
  4. Successful candidates will be required to schedule interviews within 3 days of receiving the invite email for the live coding interview.
  5. NB: Ensure a high level of commitment to scheduled interviews. Thus do not cancel or fail to show up for the interview scheduled.
